  • APPROACH

My approach to psychotherapy is grounded in Jungian + Depth Psychology and Relational Gestalt Therapy. I find that these methods complement and enhance one another. This style of therapy is best suited for people who value self reflection and who invest in their psychological process. I also offer EMDR therapy as an adjuntive therapy.

Jungian + Depth Psychology views the unconscious as the primary resource for psychological growth. This style of therapy is not prescriptive. Each treatment follows its own unique process based on the individual’s psyche and needs. Rather than pathologize the individual’s symptoms, these expressions of suffering are used as a guide towards healing. Beyond our goal to relieve suffering, we aim to bring the Self into alignment, where all parts exist as a coherent whole, in connection with the larger collective. There are several practices to assist us in making contact with the unconscious, including but not limited to dreamwork, active imagination, and projections. At times we may refer to symbolic frameworks, such as myth, alchemy and astrology. We explore this material both in relation to the individual’s life as well as on the transpersonal level.

Relational Gestalt Therapy is a holistic approach that tracks our emergent experience as it arises moment to moment. Particular attention is placed on the here-and-now and the intersubjective field shared between therapist and client. There is a strong emphasis on systems theory, encompassing topics such as social justice, power, privilege, and interdependence. Embodiment and creative expression are touchstones of this modality through practices including role playing, expressive arts, and relational somatic movement.

EMDR Therapy allows people to process traumatic experiences through a specified protocol that combines resource tapping with talk therapy. I trained at the Parnell Institute, which uses an attachment-focused, client-centered approach.

  • GOOD FAITH ESTIMATE

A Good Faith Estimate is a document provided to you before your therapy session. It includes the price of sessions so you can prepare for the expected costs of our services. It’s an estimate, so the final amount could vary. The good faith estimate is designed to make therapy more accessible by offering greater transparency so people can make informed decisions when caring for their health and well being.
